Taiwan♡台湾-overview

Taiwan was great. People say you can be there for a good 2 nights and 3 days, but nope! I can totally be there for a good ass full week.

My best friend Konomi! It was literally our first ever trip going abroad from Japan! Such a cute lil memory <3

When did we go?

People who wants to enjoy the warm sunny weather, I have to say, it was a bit cold, we had our UNIQLO light down jackets on so maybe not fully a great season but definitely warmer than Tokyo in February. Also, this god damn lantern festival was VERY VERY crowded. Many locals as well but also tourists but hey, that's everywhere nowadays. 

How much did it cost us? 

★★★★☆

For 2 nights and 3 days, the flight ticket and hotel was within ¥40,000!/ per person. which is like about $400-450. honestly, our hotel was very clean and nice, and at the end of the day, your never at your hotel while your traveling so it did well. 

How was the food? 

★★★★★

I don't know why people even go to Taiwan when they don't enjoy the amazing aspects of adventuring with food! It was seriously the best food experience I could have asked for. I actually needed more time to eat the food at the night market, since we couldn't fully enjoy the night market we wanted to... 

How were the people?

Honestly, if you come from Asia like me, it's the same as Japan but I guess more of an Asia wildreness I guess.  The people just mind their own fucking business lol and they kinda don't care much if you walk right into them or into their house street accidently? Japanese people will be furious. "respect boundries!!" type shit lol but i felt like people don't care in that sense.  young kids who work at Bubble tea shops are very kind and patient with you when you don't know what to order, so most of times, the restaurants we went it, I didn't feel like a complete idiot. 

How far is it from Tokyo? 

★★★★☆

とっーーーても近い！Very close. It's like 3-4 hours away. Very quick if you drink a beer or two before hand. Oh! side note: Did you know that you cannot take alcohol inside the plane with you? lol we had no fucking clue but when we opened our beer can inside the plane when it departed, a lady told us we have to give it up since it's prohibited by law! but why? we bought it at the airport?

Also MAYJOR side note, to go to Taiwan from Tokyo, it's possible to go from NARITA and also HANEDA. Yes, people, I totally went to the wrong airport. I thought it was from Haneda, but our flight was from Narita. So please remember guys, fucking up your airport is scary AF. lol
